COMPLEX REGIMES OF SOLITON-LIKE PULSE-PROPAGATION IN BIREFRINGENT FIBERS

摘要：

The complex spatio-temporal dynamics of soliton-like optical pulses propagating in birefringent fibers was investigated. It is shown that the dynamics is described by a quasisoliton attractor of low dimensionality. The correlation dimensionality of such an attractor turns to be less than three.
