摘要
Increasing multimorbidity in the general population leads to increasing numbers of patients with polypharmacy. It is important to differentiate between "appropriate" and "problematic" polypharmacy. In this overview article we present tools which can aide clinicians in managing their patients with polypharmacy. These tools were developed through experience of observing many patients with polypharmacy over several years.
