摘要
Considering the regional plan of the new Ploce container terminal and the foreseen phases of construction, this paper aims at presenting a complete working technology, that is, the organization of the transport, transshipment and stowage of containers. For an efficient operation and considering the foreseen quantity of container traffic, a selection of the transshipment and transport facilities has been made. Based on the facilities dimensions, the authors of this paper have calculated the static and dynamic capacity of the container terminal for every phase of its construction. When designing the container terminal and its open stowage area, the authors have particularly taken into account the loads of the transshipment and transport facilities on the area. Therefore, the paper is focused on a detailed analysis of the construction characteristics, namely, on the loads of the transshipment and transport facilities, manufactured by a wide range of producers and presented today on the market, as well as to their final selection.
