摘要
The experimental results of scanning tunneling microscopy study of heavy ion tracks are reported. A new principle of nuclear detector is proposed that primary latent tracks of incident nuclei are measured directly using scanning tunneling microscopy. The new detector has a super-high spatial resolution about 30-50 angstrom.
