摘要
It is reported that a 450km CS-36M experimental cable system was laid along the east coast of Japan in the autumn of 1973. The manufacture of equipment, construction of terminal stations, and laying of cable and repeaters were carried out smoothly. An outline of the newly designed system and tests are presented.
