TRANSVERSALIZING GENDER APPROACH IN THE CONTENTS OF HIGHER EDUCATION, PROPOSAL FOR THE SOCIO-CULTURAL EDUCATION DEGREE PROGRAM

摘要
Gender relationship is a type of social interaction which regularizes the perception and modes of action of individuals of any society. They are main regulators of the sexual division of work, exploitation, ideology, politics, law, religion, morality and sexuality. It establishes differences between men and women in sexual labor division, ideology, politics, law, religion and sexuality at stablishing differences in gender relationships among individuals. Processes of cultural socialization which are developed by the family, the working environment and educative institutions influence the formation with respects to the differences and gender relationships. However the last one plays an important role at providing the students with tools which exceed everyday knowledge when using contents for social transformation according to principles of equity and social justice. This article presents a proposal for the incorporation of gender approach in the training programs of higher education resulting from the documentary analysis which rules the teaching educative process and the methodological work. It takes as a starting point the Training Program of Socio-cultural Studies which may be generalized to all Higher education careers in Cuba.
