摘要
A two-dimensional model to predict flow behavior for stratified smooth and stratified wavy two-phase flow is presented. The velocity profiles in both the liquid and the gas are assumed to be described by a sum of logarithmic velocity profiles, and the interface is treated as a moving wall. From the requirement that the velocity profiles near the wall and the interface approach the classic logarithmic profiles, a closed equation system is obtained, and by solving these equations the total flow is described. The principle behavior of the liquid hold-up as a function of the governing flow parameters is examined for a plane duct. Approximations for circular pipes are also presented. The calculated results are compared with experimental data, and the agreement for stratified smooth flow is very good.
