摘要
This study is based on the assessment of socioemotional competences in a sample of unemployed female university students who participated in the 2009 Universem Programme, (University and Female Employment), a job training programme to improve their employment prospects run by the Professional Guidance Unit 'Andalucia Orienta' of the University of Jaen (Spain). The main aim of this research is to analyse the acquisition of the participants' (n=50) socioemotional competences on the basis of the scoring obtained according to the ECSE Scale (Repetto et al., 2009). Two studies are carried out. A descriptive study of the data yielded and a study which correlates the sociodemographic variables considered - age, qualifications, participation in internship jobs and attitude towards mobility - and the scores obtained in different dimensions of the tool. The findings reveal that there are only significant statistical differences (p<. 05) between the age variable and the self-awareness dimension.
