Dispersion analysis is employed to study the possibility of using power expressions to approximate the current-voltage characteristics of blown-off high-current discharges in de vortex-type plasma generators. The effect of the flow rate and type of gas, as well as of the electrode diameter, on the similarity of the current-voltage characteristics of plasma generators is estimated.
