Nursing schools are being challenged to integrate alcohol and other drug abuse content into both their undergraduate and graduate curricula. The University of Kansas is currently involved in a coordinated approach to curriculum implementation with the support of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
