摘要
A highly dispersed aqueous colloid of metallic silver was obtained by reducing AgNO3 with NaBH4. Stabilization of the silver sol was achieved by adding sodium trimetaphosphate, polyvinyl alcohol, or some nitrogen- and sulfur-containing surfactants. Small silver clusters were obtained by forming colloidal silver particles on a PVA-based polymer matrix, which impeded oxidation and coagulation of silver particles at early stages of reduction.
