The application of law in global context: methodological issues

This article follows on from a previous research project that looked at the application of law in a national, international and European context. Two and a half years after completing the project, we feel the need to reformulate our hypothesis to better reflect the dual shift required in research of this type. Instead of examining new ways of defining the law and the legal systems, we must look at ways for legal experts to apply the law in a range of contexts.
