摘要
Rare earth centres with angular momentum J = 1 arrayed on a tetragonal lattice are assumed to interact with the crystal field, homogeneous static lattice deformations and inhomogeneous dynamic ones (phonons). Stable homogeneous phases of lattice deformations and corresponding quadrupole moments are found. The operators of the quadrupole-quadrupole and quadrupole-dipole interactions mediated by phonons are derived in the simplest (most symmetric) phase.
