摘要：
Vast changes are today taking place in the library systems of the former ''peoples' democracies.'' Such development is to be expected given the scope of economic and political transformations taking place there. The present review attempts to highlight some of the more important of these changes in the areas of library administration, library financing, library education, library technology, and collection policies (i. e., circulation and censorship).
