摘要：
The article examines the process of myth-making in the field of history in present-day Russia. Author analyzes a range of wide-spread myths on Russian history of the XX century and follows the path of their emergence. The article studies the role and influence of conspiracy theories on historical myths. The text concludes with a description of new challenges, which tossed to the academic community when the historical knowledge is disintegrated on ideological subcultures in the media, including the Internet.
