OPTIMUM MAINTENANCE STRATEGY FOR A CYCLIC SYSTEM

摘要
A method of calculating the cost of maintenance of a cyclically acting system during its entire operating time using a given maintenance strategy is proposed which takes into account the effect on this cost of system equipment reliability and of situations requiring unplanned repair works. It is shown that under certain conditions on the maintenance process organization it is possible to find two optimal maintenance strategies. One ensures minimum maintenance costs for a specific maintenance efficiency criterion. The other strategy ensures a maximum efficiency criterion for a specified admissible cost.
