摘要：
A signal processor for HDTV receivers is presented. The HDTV receiver utilizing this signal processor can receive not only the HDTV broadcasting service but also the NTSC standard. At the same time, the picture quality for the NTSC signal is improved. This enhancement maintains the optimum viewing distance of the HDTV receiver within the same range for both systems. © 1990 IEEE
