摘要：
The radiosity method gives one of the best solutions for synthetizing realistic images. However, the method is also the most computationally expensive. Using parallel computers will cut the time required to solve this problem provided that care is taken in the design of the system. Various models of parallel computing are explored for both the gather radiosity method and the progressive refinement radiosity method.
