The British archives and the writing of Moroccan Jews History

The British archives kept in the funds of the Public Record Office in Kew, recently repackaged by National Archives, constitute an inexhaustible reservoir of information for the study of the political and social history of Morocco and the countries of North Africa at the time-colonial. The contents of this and other collections preserved in London and elsewhere in Great Britain are also an inescapable source for the study of the history of the Jewish minority in Morocco. However, and in spite of this importance, the number of researchers who have used the archives for the study of Jewish minority subjects in Morocco in particular remains limited.
