摘要
Light changes its path and the polarization state if it interacts with a medium whose particles are much smaller than its wavelength. The phenomenon is most intense for colours of shorter wavelength. Consequently, for white light, the colours of the blue-violet region of the spectrum are most affected. Some of the experiments presented in this article are related to the polarization state of dispersed light through colloidal media.
