AN ESTIMATE OF THE STABILITY OF A HALF-WAVE VOLTAGE CONVERTER WITH A BACKWARD DIODE UNDER CURRENT AND VOLTAGE FEEDBACK

摘要
Half-wave voltage converters (HVC) with a backward diode have found increasingly wide application today in pulsed continuously adjustable secondary power supplies (PSPS). They have a number of advantages, including the design simplicity of transformerless power circuits. A dual-loop regulation system is employed to improve the stability of the continuously adjustable PSPS; in addition to output voltage feedback, additional choke current [1, 2] or switched transistor current [3] feedback is introduced in this system. The stability of such a dual-loop PSPS system is estimated by a discrete Laplace transformation in [1, 2]. The stability of such systems is estimated here for a linear analog model taking into account the state variable method based on averaged parameters [3-5] which considerably simplifies all the theoretical relations.
