摘要
A closed-form empirical expression for the effective dielectric permittivity of curved microstrip transmission lines is derived which is very general, simple and accurate, and using this expression the frequency dependence of the characteristic impedence of curved microstrip lines is reported. The experimental verification is performed up to 12 GHz. These investigations may be useful for the design of transmission lines, power dividers and other components using curved microstrips at microwave frequencies.
