摘要
The overactive bladder syndrome is a frequent medical problem and one difficult to treat. The first symptoms are increased frequency, nocturia and urgency. In severe cases, urinary incontinence may occur, even if the urinary sphincter works perfectly well. Sacral neuromodulation has become an established method for treating these patients. In France, its medical and economic impact is under study. In this article, we present the most recent technical evolutions and we review the main results in the medical literature.
