摘要
Since the 1990s, the un has generated and disseminated a discourse that constructs the environment as a threat to international security. Such a process of securitization does not, however, have unanimous support within this international organization made up of multiple actors with different strategies. What are the obstacles to the securitization of the environment within the un ? What do they tell us about the securitization process ? How can they inform our understanding of the relationship between securitization and institutional logics ? This article seeks to answer these questions by examining the case of environmental securitization within the un. It explores the interactions between institutional logics and securitization, analyzing them with respect to the barriers encountered in discursive threat construction, the dissemination of the security framework, and securitization practices.
