摘要：
What do offenders think of supervision? How do they feel about their probation officers? Author Julie Leibrich reports on a study which reveals the perspectives of 48 offenders who were sentenced to supervision in New Zealand in 1987. The study indicated that offenders valued a probation officer who treated them as individuals, was genuinely caring, was clear about what was required of them, and trusted them when the occasion called for it.
