摘要
Presents a scientometric analysis of 2402 publications in Indian lymphoma research, as covered in Scopus database, during 2004-13. The study identified the global publication share and rank of Indian research output among the 15 most productive countries and examined India's growth, citation quality, citation distribution, the share of its international collaborative publications and contribution of its leading international collaborating partners, the distribution of publications by broad subject areas, type of research, treatment methods and geographical areas; publication productivity and citation impact of leading Indian organizations and authors, the media of communication and the characteristics of the high cited publications. Suggest the need to step up the research efforts, government research funding and national and international collaborative programmes, which will lead to increase the research output and improve research quality in India's lymphoma research.
