摘要
A brief introduction to the use of electrode impedance measurements EIM in fundamental and applied electrochemistry is given, With examples related to fast redox electrode kinetics, elucidation of reaction mechanisms and porous electrodes the successful application of EIM is illustrated. Ways of data gathering manipulation and evaluation with some commonly encountered pitfalls are indicated.
