摘要
In the current work, a new experimental technique based on reflection caustics is introduced to characterize time-dependent fracture at elevated temperatures. Experiments performed on a 2219-T35I1 aluminum alloy have demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed technique. Possible future research is also suggested to refine the technique for accurate quantitative evaluation of the high temperature crack tip loading parameter.
