摘要
An examination is made of the results of investigating structure formation in 50KhG chromium-manganese spring steel heat treated by combined schedules including preliminary interim water cooling with subsequent isothermal holding. The optimum heat treatment schedule was established, enabling a homogeneous ferrite-cementite mixture to be obtained over the cross-section of spring steel strip with a hardness not exceeding the standard requirements. Decarburization and scaling are reduced in this case.
