Image of "the Other" in the Structure of Modern Identity of Russian Society

摘要：

Images of "the other", that can be distinguished within the structure of the social and political identity of Russian society, are considered in the article on the basis of the discourse-analysis of mass-media, performed by the author and supplemented by the author in the text with data of sociological polls. Specific features of images of both external and internal "others" have been analyzed, and dynamics of their formation and transformation in the period from the late 1990s up to 2008 demonstrated.
