摘要
In the paper, a fibre-optic measuring system for high-voltage applications is presented. The fibre-optic sensor is based on the temperature dependence of light emission from phosphors. The maximum of the luminescence light intensity and the decay time constant of the luminescence signal are functions of temperature. In the system the decay time of the luminescence is used as a measure of temperature. This type of sensor does not depend on intensity and consequently problems of stability in the fibre-optic channel are eliminated. (ZnCd)S:Ag powder is used as the temperature-sensing phosphor in the measuring system. The accuracy of temperature measurement is better than +/- 1 degrees, in the temperature range - 10 to + 150 degrees C.
