摘要
The high-resolution spectrum of the ozone a-type hot band ν3 - ν2 in the region 290-380 cm-1 has been recorded with a Bruker IFS 120 HR interferometer. A procedure based on absolute pressure measurements has been developed to determine the initial ozone particle density. The decomposition in the White-type absorption cell was monitored employing relative linestrength data from the sequence of individual spectra within the measurement. Experimental line positions and linestrengths of about 300 transitions were evaluated. A vibrational transition moment μ(001)-(010) = -0.019044(64) D was obtained from the experimental Iinestrengths by means of a least-squares fitting procedure. The fit was rather satisfactory since the experimental data were reproduced within their average uncertainty of 12%. From the reduced data, linestrengths can be predicted with an accuracy of about 3-10%. The linestrengths of 26 transitions in the ν2 band of ozone have been evaluated and compared with the HITRAN 92 database. The present values are on average 3.5 ± 3.1% smaller and thus in good agreement with the previous results. © 1994 Academic Press. All rights reserved.
