摘要
The following research investigated how do gaucho's managers perceive the impact of Information Technology (IT) at the organization's performance. The IT is considered in a vast context, including the service quality given at IT area, information system quality and the information quality provide by the system. This descriptive study was developed in two phases. Fist, a quantitative survey was conducted with a sample of 212 managers from different companies, most of them with management positions. The results indicates that IT impacts of the organizational performance at the point of view of company surveyed managers, mostly influenced by service quality of IT area, which emphasizes the importance of technical support. These findings are reinforced at second phase, a qualitative stage, performed with 14 managers, who indicated that, altogether, IT can impact at costumer service improvement, to facilitate the relationship with suppliers, add value to services and at the invention of new products and services.
