摘要
A modified cooled source-moderator design using solid Ar moderation to produce monoenergetic positron beams is described. The decay rate over long periods is observed to be similar to 0.1% per hour. Results from angular energy loss distributions in a 63 mu g/cm(2) thick Al target for incident 20 keV positrons using a high-resolution energy analyzer are presented.
