摘要：

Synthesis of a series of N,N'-(pyromellitoyl) diamino acids (II-IX) and some of their corresponding diamino acid chlorides (X-XIV), diamino acid methyl esters (XV-XIX), and bis-dipeptide methyl esters (XX-XXIX) are described. All the synthesized compounds, except acid chlorides (X-XIV), were found to possess specific antimicrobial activities towards different microorganisms.
