Comparative study of seven Kamchatka river's sockeye salmon populations was conducted to describe their genetic structure. Allele frequencies at the GPT and PGM-2 loci in sockeye salmon populations of this river had small periodic fluctuations. The majority of populations displayed genetic differences in a number of loci.
