摘要：
The peculiarities of EMS-induced point mutation and chromosome breakage formation were studied. The storage of mutagenized sperm in the female receptacula seminis is accompanied by the increase of the embryonic and postembryonic lethal and X-chromosome loss frequency in contrast of sex-linked recessive lethal mutations. The dynamics of chromosome break accumulation corresponded to the rate of N-glycosylic bond hydrolysis and DNA depurination. This allowed to consider AP-sites as the likely primary lesions responsible for the storage effect observed under EMS action.
