摘要
In the Tianwen-1mission,China's first Marsexploration, the lander/roverhad safelylandedin the southUtopianplainand conducteda seriesof scientificexplorations. The Marssurfacecompositiondetector(MarSCoDe)equippedon theZhurongroveruses remotelaser-inducedbreakdownspectroscopy(LIBS)and short-waveinfraredspectroscopytoperformthein situdetectionof the elementalcompositionof surfacesoils, rocks, and mineralson Mars.In this paper, first, the basiccomponentsof this instrumentsuite are introduced.Second, the LIBSprincipleis described.Third, thespectraland radiationcalibrationof the LIBSspectrometerand its surveyingdistanceand pointinganglecalibrationaredescribed. Finally, the performanceassociatedwith the navigationand terraincameras(NaTeCam)is presented.Theresultsfrom the joint detectionand analysisof the MarSCoDeand the NaTeCamshowthat the MarSCoDecan accuratelyfire the targetand determinethe elementalcomponents
