摘要
With the purpose of promoting information literacy (ALFIN) in the health system of Villa Clara and based on the declaration by Infomed in 2007 of the national information literacy program of the Cuban health system, the Provincial Information Center of Medical Sciences Villa Clara designed and initiated the execution of a provincial strategy to materialize the desired scope expressed in the national program. During the decade that has passed, a significant set of organizational and didactic actions has been deployed systematically and progressively, containing the provincial strategy aimed at information literacy of the community of users of the provincial health system of the province of Villa Clara, in managers, researchers and information workers. The objective of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the information literacy strategy of the health system in Villa Clara. In the execution of the research project executed in the last two years, the dimensions and indicators were determined to carry out the evaluation of the strategy, according to the Stuffebeam model that considers four aspects: context, design, process and product. A methodological triangulation was also carried out with the application of surveys and interviews to the main actors involved in the strategy. The main scientific result of the executed research project is to evaluate the relevance, feasibility and effectiveness of the information literacy strategy designed. The evaluation of the application of the Provincial Strategy of ALFIN is a valuable result to clarify the evolution of the process and its concrete scope, making it possible to reformulate actions that contribute to improve the results achieved.
