摘要：

The article presents the data on the level and dynamics of age-related changes in psychophysiological adaptation of children of elementary school age who are studying in a small-scale rural school. Differences in physical development of children and sexual characteristics were revealed. With a disharmonious physical development, the number of "unprepared" children prior to education is 1.5 times higher than among children with harmonious physical development.
