摘要
The quality of water is of vital concern for mankind, since it is directly linked with human welfare. It is now recognized that the quality of groundwater available in an area is as important as the quantity. Groundwater quality data gives important clues to the geologic history of rocks and indications of groundwater recharge, movement and storage. In the present study, groundwater samples from the existing bore wells of a part of the Kanyakumarai District has been selected to study the cations and anions and the various health effects due to the daily intake of groundwater.
