摘要：

G.N. Potanin's views are considered in a context of such wide phenomena of the Russian public idea as zapadnichestvo and evrazijstvo. The conclusion about development Siberian oblastnichestvo (on behalf of G.N. Potanin) from the Siberian separatism to original Siberian evrazijstvo (predevrazijstvo) which was showed as in positive overcoming of a "colonial syndrome" through regionalizm, and in historical and cultural studying people of Eurasia is done. The thesis about G.N. Potanin as the researcher-evrazialist.
