摘要：
Recognizing that a large part of US I&C capability is outdated and without vendor support, EPRI has set a strategic goal to complete the modernization of I&C systems in at least ten plants by the year 2000. Co-operation is being sought from suppliers, utilities and government agencies. The draft I&C plan is now out for industry review and feedback. The next step will be to select contractors and alliance partners, and get the work underway.
