摘要
The results of the investigation of the porous structure of oxide, reduced and sulfided forms of alumina supported nickel tungsten catalyst are presented. Microdistribution of the pores was determined on the basis of the low temperature nitrogen adsorption, while macrodistribution was determined by mercury intrusion porosimetry. The change in pore size distribution of different forms of the NiW AlzO3 catalyst is discussed in relation to the conditions of its activation. It was revealed that the process of reduction by hydrogen as well as simultaneous reduction-sulfiding by a mixture of hydrogen and hydrogen sulfide result in new surface species formation which affect the porous pattern of catalysts. © 1990.
