EFFECTS OF FREE-ELECTRONS ON THE DYNAMICS OF EXCITONS IN QUANTUM-WELL STRUCTURES

摘要：
A nonlinear interaction was observed between two optical beams exciting a GaAs/Al0.33Ga0.67As quantum-well structure. The effect was attributed to the influence of free electrons on the exciton dynamics in the spatially fluctuating potential of the structure. An increase in the density of nonequilibrium free electrons modified the luminescence spectrum and reduced the intensity of the resonantly scattered light.
