The "Revista de Historia de la Psicologia" (Journal of the History of Psychology) was founded at the University of Valencia (Spain) in 1980. It is the oldest journal dedicated to the history of psychology in the Spanish world, and one of the oldest in the whole fi eld. In its pages there are many articles dealing with the history of Latinamerican psychology, many of them written by welknown specialists of those countries, that give first hand information of the historical development of psychology in their own countries. The article offers a detailed information of those articles, and a cursory view of the main lines of the topic.
