摘要：
This paper shows that the optical behaviour is first explained by polarimetry, and Poincare formalism. We are able to strictly demonstrate all the effects observed on LCD and to understand what are the differences between the LC displays. A review of the different LC displays gives the position of each one in front of TN liquid crystal display.
