DESIGN OF PHASE PLATES FOR CHANGING THE WAVE-FRONT OF LASERS

摘要
Using phase plates calculated by a two-dimensional discrete FFT with dimensionless parameters and a computer simulation method for the design, we can convert a fundamental mode gaussian beam into one of rectangular shape, or change an elliptical wavefront into one of circular symmetry. Formulae giving the relation between theoretical simulation and experimental parameters were introduced. The results demonstrated that the experimental equipment is simple by using the data obtained, and the efficiency of the energy transform is high.
