Point-spread function in nonmonochromatic light for an ideal optical system

摘要
This paper shows that, when a radiation detector is uniformly sensitive in the spectral range 400-700 nm, there are no dark and bright diffraction rings. In the visible region in white light, the diffraction pattern is colored. The central maximum has a blue hue, the first dark ring is purple, and the first bright ring is green.
