摘要
A definition of the quantum mechanical operators associated to the vibrational energy of chemical bonds, atoms or atomic groups, is used to study the intramolecular energy transfer problems. The validity and utility of the hypothesis accepted have been tested by applying the theory in the case of linear chain molecular models. The most relevant conclusion lies on the fact that vibrational energy transfer could take place even for systems with harmonic potential and low energy contents.
